Alice was born and raised in the province of Genoa (Italy). There she also obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Translation and her Master’s Degree in Languages and Literatures. She started to teach Italian in Russia in 2017 and in 2019 she obtained the Ditals certificate to teach Italian as a foreign language. Alice moved to South Africa in 2019. Since then she has been teaching at the Dante Alighieri Society in Johannesburg. Throughout these years she has taught adults and kids, and starting from 2022 she also teaches Italian at the Reddam House College in Bedfordview.

Alice è nata e cresciuta nella provincia di Genova, città dove ha conseguito una laurea triennale in traduzione e una laurea magistrale in lingue e letterature straniere. Ha cominciato a insegnare italiano durante un soggiorno in Russia nel 2017 e nel 2019 ha ottenuto la certificazione Ditals per l’insegnamento dell’italiano a stranieri. Alice si è trasferita in Sudafrica nel 2019, anno in cui ha anche cominciato a lavorare per la Società Dante Alighieri di Johannesburg. In questi anni ha insegnato ad adulti e bambini e dal 2022 è insegnante di italiano presso la scuola superiore Reddam House Bedforview. È, inoltre, intervistatrice ed esaminatrice PLIDA (Progetto Lingua Italiana Dante Alighieri).

Benedetta obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Classical Studies and a Master’s degree in Teaching Italian to Foreigners in her hometown, Perugia. She started teaching in Italy in 2014 and then had two teaching experiences abroad in Portugal (2015) and Australia (2016). She moved to South Africa in 2017 through a Pilot Project of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) and became the Teaching Coordinator of the Dante Alighieri Society of Johannesburg in 2019. She teaches Italian to adults and runs mural and extramural children courses. Since 2019, she is also the resident Italian teacher at Reddam House Bedfordview. She is a PLIDA (Dante Alighieri Italian Language Project) interviewer, examiner and referent and since 2021 she is part of the IEB commission of Italian Second Additional Language for the South African matric, where she operates as an examiner.

Benedetta è nata e cresciuta a Perugia, città dove ha conseguito una laurea triennale in Lettere Antiche ed una laurea magistrale in Insegnamento dell’italiano a stranieri. Ha iniziato ad insegnare in Italia nel 2014, per poi avere esperienze all’estero in Portogallo (2015) e in Australia (2016). È arrivata in Sudafrica nel 2017 con il Progetto Pilota del MAECI (Ministero degli Affari Esteri e della Cooperazione Internazionale) ed è Coordinatrice didattica presso la Società Dante Alighieri di Johannesburg dal 2019. Insegna ad adulti e bambini in contesto scolastico ed extrascolastico e presso la scuola Reddam House Bedfordview dal 2019. È intervistatrice, esaminatrice e Responsabile PLIDA (Progetto Lingua Italiana Dante Alighieri) e dal 2021 fa parte della commissione IEB d’Italiano Seconda Lingua Addizionale per la maturità sudafricana, ricoprendo la carica di esaminatrice.

Cristina was born in Rome and lived in the U.S. and in China. She obtained her first three-year degree in Education at the “La Terza” University of Rome. And obtained her second Bachelor`s and Master`s degree in Oriental languages and literatures from the “La Sapienza” University of Rome. She started teaching Italian language to foreigners in Italy in 2015, thanks to the Italian Foreign Ministry “Turandot” program to integrate Chinese students into Italian Art Academies. In 2020, she attained her second level Ditals certification to teach Italian as a second language. Cristina recently moved to South Africa to work for the Dante Alighieri society and is currently teaching online and in presence to adults and kids. During her free time, she likes hiking, reading books and learning about different languages and cultures.

Cristina è nata a Roma e ha vissuto negli Stati Uniti e in Cina. Ha conseguito la prima laurea triennale in Scienze dell’Educazione, presso l'Università degli Studi di Roma Tre. E ha ottenuto la seconda laurea triennale e magistrale in Lingue e letterature orientali presso l'Università di Roma “La Sapienza”. Ha iniziato a insegnare la lingua italiana agli stranieri in Italia nel 2015, grazie al programma “Turandot” del Ministero degli Esteri volto ad integrare gli studenti cinesi nelle Accademie di Belle Arti italiane. Nel 2020 ha conseguito la certificazione Ditals di secondo livello per l'insegnamento dell'italiano come seconda lingua. Cristina si è recentemente trasferita in Sud Africa per lavorare presso la società Dante Alighieri, attualmente insegna online e in presenza ad adulti e bambini. Nel tempo libero le piace fare escursioni, leggere libri e conoscere lingue e culture diverse.
